On December 26, 2019, Chengdu Newsun held its inaugural meeting and the first extraordinary shareholders' meeting in 2019, electing He Qiming, Ren Dan, Lai Xiaoyang, Wei Wenfeng, Yang Xiliang, Tao Ke, Liu Tao, and Guo Wei as the first directors of the company's board of directors, with Liu Tao and Guo Wei as independent directors. On the same day, Chengdu Newsun held the first meeting of its first board of directors and elected He Qiming as its chairman.

On December 27, 2019, Chengdu Newsun held its second extraordinary shareholders' meeting in 2019 and Pan Canping was co-opted onto an independent director of the company.
