Release time:2024-06-17 11:33:37 Visits:
Recently, Mr. Phatchayaphon Meunchang, Deputy Director of the Plant Protection Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand, and his team visited Chengdu Newsun Crop Science Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "NEWSUN"). Mr. He Qiming, Chairman of NEWSUN, led the International Business Division and the research and development team of the Biotechnology Research Institute to participate in this exchange. Mr. Guo Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Pesticide Industry Association, and a group of experts attended the event.

The purpose of the visit by the Plant Protection Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand was to understand NEWSUN’s concept of health crop protection and biological control technology, as well as to introduce Thailand's registration regulations and requirements, with the hope of introducing more biological technologies and products. On June 7th, both parties visited NEWSUN's Bio-Information Technology Testing Center (Kiwifruit International Park) to gain a deeper understanding of NEWSUN's outdoor trial demonstration base and the application of the "Zero" Pesticide Residue full-process cultivation management technology.

The Thai Department of Agriculture's Plant Protection Bureau delegation conducted an on-site visit to NEWSUN's production base and the Biotechnology Research Institute, gaining a more intuitive understanding of the NEWSUN research and development system, which includes "Soil Environment and Nutrition Innovation Center" , "Microbial Biopesticide Innovation Center", "Bio Pesticide Innovation Center", "Botanical Pesticide Innovation Center", "Crop Immune Gene Editing and Molecular Breeding Creation Laboratory", and "Plant Stem Cell Synthesis Biotechnology Innovation Center ".

On June 8th, both parties had an in-depth exchange on NEWSUN's biological technologies and products, as well as Soil Environment Restoration, Biostimulants, Bioregulators, Biopesticides, "ZERO" Pesticide Residue Healthy Crop Protection Services, and "Carbon" technology Suppliers, as well as Thailand's biopesticide registration regulations. Ms. Utchalee, the head of the Thai Department of Agriculture's Plant Protection Bureau's registration department, and her colleagues expressed high praise for the healthy crop protection concept upheld by NEWSUN.

Thailand, as one of the largest agricultural countries in Asia, has over 10 million hectares of rice cultivation area, as well as characteristic cash crops such as durian, mango, and coconut. Local crop cultivation also faces challenges such as high temperatures, drought, and various pests and diseases. With the increasing global demand for the quality of green and organic agricultural products, it is believed that NEWSUN's independently developed full-process biological technology from "soil to table" will help improve soil quality and increase crop yields in Thailand. NEWSUN's natural bioregulators and biostimulants will reduce the impact of extreme weather such as high temperatures and drought on agricultural production, significantly improving the quality and grade of agricultural products. The "ZERO" Pesticide Residue Healthy Crop Protection Service will reduce the use of chemical pesticides, lower crop pesticide residues, meet the increasing global demand for the quality of green and organic agricultural products, and contribute wisdom and strength to Thailand's agricultural ecosystem.
This visit by the Plant Protection Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture of Thailand to NEWSUN has enhanced mutual understanding and friendship. NEWSUN will continue to prioritize technical support and services for the Thailand market and actively promote the application and dissemination of agricultural biotechnology between China and Thailand.
